Tranent FC Youth section provides youth and adult football within the community as part of Tranent Football Club.

The section provides opportunities for boys and girls to learn and play football and is also a Disability Inclusive Club providing opportunities for footballers with disabilities for children and adults.

We also provide various social football activities for adults which includes a social kick about, competitive amateur and over 35s and walking football.

The section, formerly Tranent Colts FC, was founded in April 1998 with 14 kids and has now grown to be one of the biggest youth football provider in East Lothian with over 500 children (boys and girls) playing football at all levels from fun 4s to soccer sevens and competitive 11 a-sides.

We are proud and delighted to be the 1st Club in East Lothian to receive the prestigious SFA Quality Mark LEGACY / PLATINUM Award.

The Club continues to flourish with the dedication of coaches, parents and the kids themselves and continues to provide a valuable service to children and youths within the local community and surrounding areas. Tranent FC currently provides football opportunities in the following areas –

• Girls Academy (Primary 1 to Secondary) – Fun Fours, Super 5s & Soccer 7s
